With their slotted sunglasses and flashy ring attire, these boys call on the 80's in their fashion sense but not their ring presence. High Flying, Agile, and a just a pinch of Showboating make this tag team what it is. Let's meet the first Twin, Zakk Atticus.

Gunnar Wuher: Who are you? Why Do I care exactly?

 

Zakk Atticus: I'm the Wonderboy, figurative son of the Dangerboy. You care because you're the one that asked! 

GW: Why do you wrestle?

 

ZA: Wrestling is a beautiful thing. It helps bring out my charismatic side, as well as my athleticism. Plus, I kick ass at it, so it seems to have been a good choice.

 

GW: Where did you start?

 

ZA: Started out with Chuck Simpson, and moved to Neo Spirit Dojo in Niagara Falls, ON. Started training at 14, had first match at 15.

 

GW: Advice for the new kids?

ZA: Respect everyone that has been in this business before you. It doesn't matter what you've done, or how long you've done it. This business feeds on respect, and if you don't show it to anyone else, no one will respect you, and before you know it, your spot will be taken by someone else that cares more about this business than you.

 

GW: What would you like to say to the fans of NWA Upstate?

 

ZA: Watch out for the hot new tag team coming to a NWA promotion near you. The team of Marc Krieger & Zakk Atticus, the Wonder Twins!

 

GW: What would be the worst injury you have ever had during your long career?

 

ZA: Broke my leg in a football game, which took me away from wrestling for a while, which is the worst injury you could mentally ask for.

 

GW: What keeps you occupied outside of the Wrestling ring?

Keeping a healthy body and a healthy mind. And beating up little kids for their lunch money along the way.

 

GW: What was the worst drive you’ve ever had to an event?

9 hours straight to Sault St.Marie (on the border with Detroit) for one lousy tag match, through a blizzarding snowstorm.

 

GW: What goes through your head before you head out for a match?

ZA: "I hope I pick up some hot chicks"

 

GW: Finally, Who influences you as a person? Why?

 

ZA: As lame as people may find it, I've never been inspired more than the words of motivation of the Ultimate Warrior. His workout techniques, his "never give up" attitude, his intensity, and his ability to succeed is something that I can ALWAYS respect the man for, no matter what kind of crummy things he has done in his wrestling career.

Gunnar Wuher: What makes Pro-Wrestling real for you?

 

Marc Krieger: The injuries! The effort and the craft involved is really hidden! Everyone can bump around, but few can be professional wrestlers.

 

GW: What is your first Memory of Wrestling?

 

MK: Started late, 13th birthday party. It was the first time I stayed up to watch ECW at 4am. Completely and totally mind opening.

 

GW: What match has been the best match you've watched recently?

 

MK: Every Jimmy Olsen and Brodie Lee match. It's nice to watch those two work because they've worked so hard to get where they are now. It's really awesome.

 

GW: Finally, Do you have any guilty pleasure outside of wrestling?

 

MK: 90's Cartoons. Rocko's Modern Life, SWAT Katz etc.
