"Loot, Pillage and Piledrivers" would of liked to have participated in it's first "Predictions" Column before the show, but due to some errors, it could not be posted in time for a proper debate.What I planned on doing was keeping a running tally and seeing how accurate I can be with my predicitions. This will be, hopefully, something everyone of you out there will look forward to in the future. I'm going to follow this very closely and I hope the people on the boards will follow suit with there own predictions/bitch me out about mine. I might call this portion "Contemplations, Thoughts,and Predictions, oh my!" For now though, I'm going to give you what I predicted, what actually went down and how wrong/right I was. I'm not sure though, maybe this is good fodder for an email or IM? Here we go:

MAIN EVENT - NWA UPSTATE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH

"Dastardly" Danny Doring (C) vs Former ECW/WCW/WWE star Stevie Richards

Who will win: "Dastardly" Danny Doring (1) Who should win: Draw. I believe that both men, on good days, have about an equal chance to succeed. Stevie has Danny's number in experience by 5 years. Stevie may be bigger, but not by much. A few inches and 10-20lbs separate the two men. They both carry the same finisher (Danny's Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma'am, & Stevie's Stevie-T are in fact the same maneuver.) I'm inclined to say that Stevie's Kick will be the overwhelming factor if indeed, the good guys take the night. Prediction of Decision: Pin-fall (w/tights or unfair leverage)(.5) What Really Happend: - NWA Upstate Heavyweight Champion Danny Doring defeated former ECW/WCW/WWE superstar Stevie Richards when Colin Delaney attacked Richards allowing Doring to make the pin Right/Wrong: 1.5/.5

MCCHESNEY/REYES IV – THE FINAL CONFRONTATION

"Fabulous" John McChesney vs "Havana Pitbull" Ricky Reyes (w/Star Rider)

Who will win?: "Fabulous" John McChesney (1) Who should win?: "Fabulous" John McChesney, Although the "Havana Pitbull" has the greater experience here, McChesney has seemed the one to always raise the bar. Ricky seems the one to jump up afterwards. Prediction of Decision: Pin-fall (legit)(1) Extra Prediction: If that Star Rider gets in the ring... He'll get hurt.(0) What Really Happend: The Match became - John McChesney vs. Lionel Knight. John won via Pinfall. Ricky was not at the show that night. Right/Wrong: 2/1

NWA UPSTATE NO-LIMITS TITLE MATCH

"The Bull of Black Mountain" Gabreal Saint (C) vs "The Montgomery Madman" Mo Mantha

Who will win?: "The Montgomery Madman" Mo Mantha(0) Who should win?: It's a coin flip for me. I'd like to see some gold change hands this night and this seems like a probable scenario considering the high-impact styles of both men Prediction of Decision: Pin-fall(legit)(0) What Really Happend:- NWA Upstate No Limits Champion Gabe Saint vs Mo Mantha went to a No Contest. Originally I was right, but Ron Falco reversed the decision. Right/Wrong:0/2

NWA UPSTATE TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

Evan & Kyle McCloud (C) vs Super Assassin & Triple X

Who will win?: The McClouds(0) Who should win?: The McClouds, We saw a slight preview of this match up during the Rochester Rumble match, with one of the McClouds Eliminating both Super Assassin & Triple X. I think this might be an omen of some sort. I'm not sure, call it a hunch. Prediction of Decision: Pin-fall(legit)(0) What Really Happend: 2CW's Hellcat & the newest 2CW member Triple X defeated The McClouds to win the NWA Upstate Tag Team title. Declaring that Triple X and Hellcat's newly won NWA titles as the "2CW Tag Team Titles." I didn't even know the 2CW crew were intelligent enough to do that. Right/Wrong:0/2

THE UPSTATE/2CW WAR CONTINUES

2CW's Hellcat vs Upstate's Dave "Mean" Marcos

Who will win?: Upstate's Dave "Mean" Marcos(1) Who should win?: Hellcat. Now here me out on this one. Besides the Rochester Rumble, what matches has the "Pussy"cat won in the past few months? I believe the answer is none since he's turned his back on Upstate. Who am I kidding though? He hasn't won then, he's not going to win now, especially drinking the Syracuse water. (In hindsight: Wow, I didn't know what the hell I was smoking when I wrote that but it was definitally prophetic. Mind you, Triple X should be given credit for really carrying PussyCat to his victory but, that's only my opinion) Prediction of Decision: Submission(0) What Really Happend: Hellcat was switched around on the card. Dicky Sanchez took his place, making this match a showcase for both men. Dave Marcos defeated Dicky Sanchez. Right/Wrong: 1/1

THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE STAR FOUNDATION DEBUTS

The Star Foundation (Star Rider, "Omega" Aaron Draven, & the debuting "Textbook" Tyson Dux) vs "Mastiff" Will Christianson, Primo Scardino & "Wonderboy" Zakk Atticus

Who will win?: The Star Foundation(1) Who should win?: "Mastiff" Will Christianson, Primo Scardino & "Wonderboy" Zakk Atticus Prediction of Decision: Pin-fall, I'll go one step further and say that the Star Rider will be the one to get the 1...2...3...(.5) What Really Happend: The Star Foundation (Aaron Dravin, Tyson Dux & Star Rider) defeated Zak Atticus, Cody Deaner & Primo Scardino (Cody Deaner replaced the injured "Mastiff"). There was a pinfall but Star Rider did not make it.(I believe.) Right/Wrong: 1.5/.5

Former NWA National/NWA Empire Champion Pepper Parks vs Cheech

Who will win?: Pepper Parks(1) Who should win?: You. This is going to be a treat.(Hindsight: It was, They worked their asses off in that ring) Prediction of Decision: Submission(0) What Really Happend: Pepper Parks defeated Cheech Right/Wrong:1/1

Former WWE superstar Colin Delaney vs Cloudy

Who will win?: Cloudy Who should win?: Once again, "Up in Smoke" Fans will be glad to see Cloudy&Cheech working their asses off. Prediction of Decision: Pinfall(clean) What Really Happend: Colin Delaney defeated Cloudy Right/Wrong: 0/2 --------------------

Total Right/Wrong 8/10

Final Thoughts:An AWESOME card with some really high quality talent on hand. Some of my favorite matches, besides the main event, would have to be the 6-man tag and the Tag Team Championship Match. A lot of drama surrounding the McCloud Brothers. I hope I can get a hold of them soon for an interview. My predictions were sub-par to say the most about them. I really had a good time and had a LOT of people there. I hope I see as many for the next show at the German House on the 31st of January. Next week I will have 3 profiles of wrestlers you've come to know and love, Hellcat, Dewey, and Dustytaker. Hellcat answers some questions as well...
