NWA February Fallout 2010 Preview NWA New York returns to The German House in Rochester, New York for its first show of 2010, February Fallout. NWA New York Heavyweight Championship - 3 Stages of Hell Match Pepper Parks vs. "The Bull of Black Mountain" Gabe Saint The main event will be a rematch from NWA New York's last show, Corporate Holiday 2009 as Heavyweight Champion Pepper Parks defends his title against "The Bull of Black Mountain" Gabreal Saint in a 3 Stages of Hell Match! This is a two out of 3 match but with a twist. Each match will have different rules and stipulations to be determined that night. This match has only taken place once in NWA New York history and with the history between these two stars and the NWA New York Heavyweight title on the line, both these men will pull out all the stops. Saint received his first title shot at the 2009 Upstate 8 Indytational in October where he lost to Parks via countout and then brutally assaulted the champion after the match with a steel chair. The rematch at Corporate Holiday 2009 in December saw Parks come out on top in a hard-fought pole match. For Gabe this will be his third, and possibly last, shot at the gold.
Grudge Match
Danny Doring vs. "Extremely Cute Wrestler" Colin Delaney This grudge match will feature two men who have a long-standing feud for the last 4 months. It all started back at September's Beatdown where Colin Delaney's intereference backfired on Danny Doring and cost him the NWA New York Heavyweight Title to Pepper Parks. Delaney faced Doring one-on-one at the Upstate 8 Indytational in October. Delaney was disqualified due to constant interference from his new charges, The Young and The Wrestlers ("Superbad" Richard Venice and The Ando Brothers (Nick and Gino). All four men attacked Doring after the match and during the attack, senior referee Ron Falco, who's had issues with Doring in the past, walked away and left the ring. The Danaconda, upset over the interference, challenged The Young And The Wrestlers to a handicap match at Corporate Holiday 2009. But once again the numbers game caught up to Doring as Superbad and The Andos picked up where they left off at The Indytational with the "Extremely Cute Wrestler" once again leading the way. Things seemed to get even worse as Ron Falco came out to seemingly join in on the attack, but went after The Young and The Wrestlers instead. Now with Senior Referee Ron Falco seemingly no longer at odds with "The All Time Great of Upstate" February Fallout might be Danny Doring's best, and only, chance at revenge against Colin Delaney. NWA New York Tag Team Titles - Tables Match Hellcat & Triple X (c) (w/Johnny Kayfabe) vs. The Caribbean Connection (Maximo Suave & Coconut Jones) Another feud comes to a head in a match made by NWA New York owner Chip Stetson. It was at the Indytational where Hellcat and Triple X successfully defended their titles against The Carribean Connection. Maximo & Coconut demanded a rematch but since the champions claimed that they had already beat them, they had to settle for a non-title match with their manager Johnny Kayfabe assigned as special guest referee. Kayfabe awarded his team the victory by DQ for The Connection using the belts which never happened. This brought out Stetson, who reversed the decision and made a tables match for February Fallout with the tag titles on the line. This could be the chance for the young, upstart high-flying duo to finally make their mark in NWA New York and capture tag team gold from the wily, veteran champions. |
