After an 11- month hiatus and a lot on uncertainty, Kevin Dunn made an incredible comeback from what many thought was a career ending knee injury to team  with Soundcheck Sully at Anniversary Anarchy V when Marcos called in LAST MINUTE with the stomach flu to face CloudLee. Although they fell short in May, Dunn became re-energized to comeback to the ring and along with his partner Marcos, accepted the challenge of Triple X and Hellcat at Beatdown in a chance to reclaim their NWA Tag Team Titles for an unheard of THIRD Time. During the match however, Dunn attempted an over the top plancha to the outside and smashed his own leg against the guard rails surrounding the ring, and was barely able to finish the match. With the inevitable clearly catching up with him, Dunn made a shocking announcement following the match at Beatdown at the German House. With the crowd solidly behind him, Kevin Dunn grabbed the microphone and asked to leave this business on October 10th the same way he entered it over ten years ago, in a match with his best friend and tag team partner, Mean Marcos. Marcos accepted, and promised that between the two of them, on October 10th, no matter WHO wins, they promise to ROCK THAT PLACE TO THE GROUND... ONE MORE TIME... FOR THE LAST TIME!!!!!

FORMER NWA NY Heavyweight Champion  Danny Doring challenges "Extremely Cute Wrestler" Colin Delaney

In their FIRST EVER 1- on 1 encounter,"The All Time Great of NWA Upstate" Danny Doring INSISTS he would've walked out of Beatdown in September STILL Champion had Colin not interfered. After seeing Colin was 2- 0 against ECW Originals, beating Nunzio and Stevie Richards earlier this year, but falling to 0-3 against NWA NY wrestlers with a loss to Cheech and two losses to Gabe Saint this summer, Doring challenges Delaney to THE ULTIMATE RUBBER MATCH!! Can Doring best his former protege Colin Delaney and put him at an even 3-3 for the year? Or will Colin's new entourage the Young and the Wrestler's insure that the former Champion finds the door on the way out, and pave the way for a new stable to seek control on NWA NY?

Frank the Tank cashed in his 2007 Win for a Shot at The NWA NY Tag Team Titles THAT NIGHT and won the NWA NY Tag Team Titles with his partner Buddy Del Mar to capture the belts for Rhythm and Booze in their first Tag Team Title reign.

Last Year Hellcat won the Rochester Rumble and was unsuccessfull in challenging for the NWA NY Heavyweight Title against Danny Doring THE VERY SAME NIGHT.
